INGREDIENTS
Cookies
½ cup (1 stick) Unsalted Butter, softened
2 tbsp Granulated Sugar
1 cup All-Purpose Flour
1 heaping cup Roasted + Salted Wild Native Pecan Pieces
Optional Chocolate Drizzle
½ cup Semisweet Chocolate Chips
INSTRUCTIONS
Preheat oven to 275°F. Leave baking sheet ungreased.
In a medium bowl, cream together butter, sugar, and flour using a hand mixer until mixture resembles coarse crumbs.
Fold in roasted & salted pecan pieces. Dough will be crumbly but should hold when pressed.
Using a small cookie scoop or hands, roll dough into ½-inch balls. Tip: Lightly wet hands if dough is sticky.
Place dough balls on baking sheet and bake for 45 minutes. Cookies should be set but still pale.
Cool completely on baking sheet. Cookies will firm as they cool.
Optional Chocolate Drizzle
Melt chocolate chips in a microwave-safe bowl in 20-second intervals, stirring until smooth. Drizzle over cooled cookies. Let chocolate set before storing or serving.
