First Layer
¾ cup Flour
6 tbsp Butter, melted
1 cup Small Chopped Pecan Pieces

Second Layer
4 oz Cream Cheese, room temperature
4 tbsp Butter, room temperature
1 tsp Vanilla
1 ½ cup Powder Sugar

Third Layer
1 package Chocolate Pudding
3 cups Milk

Fourth Layer
1 - 8 oz container Cool Whip
Small Chopped Pecan Pieces

Instructions:

  1. Preheat the oven to 350°F and spray an 8x8 dish with nonstick cooking spray. If your cool whip is in the freezer, take it out and let it thaw.
  2. In a bowl, combine flour, butter, and pecan pieces.
  3. Once combined, transfer that mixture to your 8x8 pan and press down to form the crust. Place it in the oven and cook until the crust starts to turn a darker brown color along the edges. Typically, 30-40 minutes.
  4. Grab another bowl, and combine the cream cheese, butter, and vanilla. Once mixed together add in the powdered sugar and mix until smooth. Set aside.
  5. Next, take a saucepan and make the chocolate pudding according to the directions on the box. Will need the chocolate pudding mix and the 3 cups of milk.
  6. After it is ready, set aside to cool.
  7. When the crust is done cooking and has cooled. Combine all the layers. Add the cream cheese layer first, the pudding second, and the cool whip on top.
  8. Take more pecan pieces and put on top of the cool whip.
  9. Cover and put into the fridge until ready to eat.
  10. Serve and enjoy!
