First Layer
¾ cup Flour
6 tbsp Butter, melted
1 cup Small Chopped Pecan Pieces
Second Layer
4 oz Cream Cheese, room temperature
4 tbsp Butter, room temperature
1 tsp Vanilla
1 ½ cup Powder Sugar
Third Layer
1 package Chocolate Pudding
3 cups Milk
Fourth Layer
1 - 8 oz container Cool Whip
Small Chopped Pecan Pieces
Instructions:
- Preheat the oven to 350°F and spray an 8x8 dish with nonstick cooking spray. If your cool whip is in the freezer, take it out and let it thaw.
- In a bowl, combine flour, butter, and pecan pieces.
- Once combined, transfer that mixture to your 8x8 pan and press down to form the crust. Place it in the oven and cook until the crust starts to turn a darker brown color along the edges. Typically, 30-40 minutes.
- Grab another bowl, and combine the cream cheese, butter, and vanilla. Once mixed together add in the powdered sugar and mix until smooth. Set aside.
- Next, take a saucepan and make the chocolate pudding according to the directions on the box. Will need the chocolate pudding mix and the 3 cups of milk.
- After it is ready, set aside to cool.
- When the crust is done cooking and has cooled. Combine all the layers. Add the cream cheese layer first, the pudding second, and the cool whip on top.
- Take more pecan pieces and put on top of the cool whip.
- Cover and put into the fridge until ready to eat.
- Serve and enjoy!
